Search and recommendations join visual merchandising in the Shopify app
Depict on Shopify is now one app with all three products. Install once, start with the product you need, switch on the others from inside the app.
The Shopify app is now Depict: Search & Merchandising, one install with visual merchandising, search and recommendations inside.
Collections keep sold-out products down and new arrivals up on their own, and you pin, schedule and set the picture per product as before. Search understands what a product is, not just the words in its title, with autocomplete, filters and boost and bury rules. Recommendations match the product on the page on product, cart and collection pages and follow your brand rules.
Start with one product and switch the others on from the app’s home page. Prices are public, in three traffic sizes, Small, Medium and Large. Existing merchants keep their plan.
Available on Shopify for every store, from October 2026. On Centra and headless, search and recommendations were already live.
